XTempo Mover 2.54

Copy or move to one or — like an instant backup — two or three targets, with or without subfolders. Rename by date and time, append a counter to avoid overwrite, and set destination files to read-only. XTempo Mover can make folders on-the-fly; simply type the path at the Configure window's destination (“To”) field.

XTempo Mover's large main button's caption changes to display the current task. This helps with dim displays, distractive environments and low vision.

A "Tools" menu button can launch up to four of your applications.

Often used for digital photography, XTempo Mover also serves as a very simple file transfer utility as it recognizes all standard files.

1. For compatibility with Windows Vista, XTempo Mover no longer writes initialization files to its program folder. Following Microsoft recommendations, *.ini and *.glb files are now written to an "XTempo Mover" folder inside the user's hidden "Application Data" folder.
2. Also for compatibility with Windows Vista, the "Open" and "Save" dialogs no longer default to the program folder. Instead, they point to the "XTempo Mover Files" folder inside the user's "My Documents" folder.

For example, if your destination (“To”) field points to “C:\Photos\” but you would like to have a subfolder of Photos named “Cancun2004-12-11”, change the destination (“To”) field to “C:\Photos\Cancun2004-12-11\”.
